Children Panel Accreditation Scheme

Members of this scheme can help:

Children
Adults whose children are ‘at risk’ or have been taken into care

They can also give legal advice on:

Family breakdowns
Where a child lives when their parents have separated - often known as custody
Arrangements for separated parents to see their child
Emergency protection if the child is in danger
Adoption
Child maintenance

Solicitors and legal executives (legally qualified people who work with solicitors) can apply to join this scheme. You might also want to look at the Family Law page. Members of those schemes can help with some of the issues listed above.
